Telemetry is implemented in a privacy-preserving way to help direct OpenGest maintenance.
No data collected in your experiments (CSVs, audio, annotations)
ever leaves your machine.
You may opt out at any time below. But we hope you don't!
For nerds
To enable aggregate usage metrics (for
example counts and yes/no flags) while also prioritizing data privacy, the app uses a unique
local-only salt and sends only salted SHA-256 hashes (never plain folder or
file names).
Note that clearing browser site data will reset your anonymous ID and opt-out
choice (we do not use third-party tracking cookies).

When you load the page, OpenGest caches the required packages so you can keep using the app
even if connectivity drops.
To improve cache longevity, install OpenGest using the install button in your browser
address bar when available.
